The nonprofit Willamette Writers is proud to offer this panel discussion featuring the winner of its  2016 FiLMLaB Contest, Shaun Radecki. The FiLMLaB Contest offers aspiring screenwriters the opportunity to elevate their craft through experiential learning with local film professionals who help them bring their seven page script to the screen.

Shaun Radecki is the winning writer of this year's 2016 FiLMLab competition. He also had a second script reach this year's finals and three others received honors in the 2015 competition. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Shaun has worked on several TV shows in both New York and Los Angeles before moving to Portland two years ago. In addition to short scripts, he also enjoys writing features and fiction.
